Topic Title: xawtv only works if root

I would think this problem would be common, but I couldnt find any info with a search.Several programs will only work as root, xawtv and AOLs AIM client are two. The error message is when not root is:XLib: connection to :0.0 refused by serverXLib: No protocol specifiedDo I just need to suid these programs. (At least I think its called suid - where the program runs with superuser priviledges)
